Quiches...

Bit of a none event day today... weather a bit dull and not happening certainly for taking photos. As I live in a town it would have made todays blip impossible so... this afternoon I made some quiches!

Since my better half has been working abroad I have had the full sole use of the kitchen and I have been able to work on and extend my repertoire in the culinary division!

By far my better half is the more experienced and more proficient cook and when he has let me cook he has always taken over! So although I can cook I haven't cooked with confidence and taken the easy way out to cooking.

So I have added fresh soups, full roast dinners, lasagnes to my culinary confidence and quiches!

I'm loving being a bit more adventurous and enjoying the preparation as well as the results.

I'm no Nigella Lawson but by the time my better half gets home I should be able to make some wonderfully tasty meals with confidence.
