Cukes in the Sunset

Up and out early for the golf this morning. And it started out well too but ended up as just another good walk spoiled!

Cheered myself up by stopping at the pet store on the way home and getting some new fish for the tank. Flame tetras, 2 guys and 2 gals. I think! They seem to have settled right in straightaway so that's good. I'll be counting them in the morning though.

It was a beautiful evening so we wandered down to Stockbridge in search of a sunny spot to enjoy a wee aperitif. But we were a bit late and, apart from The Raeburn which was hooching and annoyingly raucous, everywhere was in shade. Kept walking and ended up in The Cross & Corner. Good Scottish beer and good German beer. Good choice.
