Shy turtle

We went to a park which will be local to the new flat Jon and Dana are moving to on 1st august. It is twice the size of their current flat, lighter and walking distance from their new jobs.

Other than that a quiet day, so hot we had a swim in the pool at their current flats.

Then the obligatory shower and snooze. Jon and Dana think they will continue the tradition after we leave.

I know it is hot in the uk but here at the moment an air conditioned room at 22 degrees feels really cold! I know at home we would be quite excited to see 22 degrees.

After the snooze we went back to smith the restaurant we went to last Saturday. Food was still good but we were all disappointed when they were out of Brussel sprouts! The men had mushy peas instead the girls had a salad.

Geoff is leaving around 06.30 in the morning, Jon will get him a taxi, it's going to be odd travelling without my best friend. Neither of us slept well last night, fingers crossed it will be better tonight.
