Lavender in the sun

I've been convinced that it was Sunday today, so a pleasant surprise to be able to celebrate another one tomorrow. We're hoping to walk and see the Tour de France as it passes on its way to Sheffield tomorrow. Judging by the thousands of people watching when it passed through North Yorkshire we might not get anywhere near.

Some long over due spring cleaning for me this morning (so I'm feeling pretty self-righteous right now) and a trip to see mum this afternoon. I've also rescued two of the substantial cacti that were growing in the greenhouse. They will be re-homed by Jan (one of the printmakers).
