Happy Birth-Bay-day

Balian helping me celebrate my birthday with us taking a selfie, wriggling around giggling to himself reading his brothers magazine (so chuffed with himself!) and showing me the real way to enjoy a jumperoo...crawl under it and kick the ball around. Way more fun! The flowers are roses from our garden, all sentimental blooms that appeared at once despite the roses that had previously been 'my babies' being much neglected over the last two years. Seemed fitting to take a flower from all six to make a birthday posy.
Nathaniel had a good day at nursery looking for the frogs in their den. Bay and I went to a sling meet in the nearby town. Met some lovely people who were very helpful. Got up try the much sort after Oscha Oki Kai 6, lovely feel but confirmed I'm more of a pattern rather than picture fan. Time to make a list of favourites! Also tried on buckles which has confirmed I'm not a fan of structured ones, so am finally sure I'm happy with the Boba Air. One day I'll make a quick decision and be happy with it!
Afterwards Bay and I dithered about whether we should go to the cinema, but eventually decided my birthday treat would be a frappe and nap time at home.
When the big boys came home we had cake and a lovely supper with Nathaniel saying "Happy Birthday" then at bed time "love you Mummy" without promoting. Best present ever! X
