Helvellyn from Place Fell

Rewarded after our soggy walk yesterday by a superb day in the fells. Wonderful views of the whole of the Helvellyn round - Striding Edge, the summit, Swirrall Edge and Catsye Cam - in one direction, the northern Pennines in another, and the Solway Firth in the west. A grand day out Gromit, though we missed the fun of Le Grand Depart!
