Lloyd Street, Manchester...
The area around the Town Hall, Town Hall Extension and Central Library has been having a makeover including Lloyd Street that separates the Gothic Town Hall from its 1930s extension. The two buildings are connected by these two elegant bridges that give this part of the city a Venetian vibe but with two Bridges of Sighs. It is one of the most beautiful and harmonious streets in the city.
What isn't too clear is the Cenotaph has been relocated at the end of this street and is looking mighty fine in its new home...
