Viva Tour le Yorkshire

Well the Tour de France came to Yorkshire today, and what an unbelievable reception it got! The crowds lining the route were phenomenal, I bet the tour organisers couldn’t believe how well supported it was. Sadly not a Mark Cavendish win at Harrogate, but what a day to remember. I hope one day Wales can have the privilege of hosting this event.

Popped down to Neath this afternoon and there was an Elvis festival in Victoria Gardens. I saw it last year as well, and they certainly struck lucky with the weather again and that brought out the crowds. A good time was had by all judging by the smiles on people’s faces. Elvis finally left the gardens on these little beauties.
