Celebration and remembrance

It has been a great day. On the way to son's house we stopped off at daughter's commemorative bench in the most beautiful of the Derbyshire dales in my opinion, Lathkill dale, picked some wild flowers and then had a lovely pub lunch with a panoramic view of the valley. It is always a great way to celebrate a life in a place she loved to be. Then we carried on and the balloons were out for my surprise postponed birthday celebration. It was lovely to see little Alex for the first time. I am losing count of the grandchildren now! A lovely meal is in preparation and I feel truly blessed!
