One of the things I love about Shetland is its openness (in many aspects). The weather can change at a drop of a feather, and the proximity of the sky and sea paint an ever changing background which is often breath-taking.

Since we arrived yesterday, without trying terribly hard, we have seen puffins, gannets, skuas, red-throated divers...
