Les Jardins De La Baie De Saint-Jean

Today is Tony's birthday. We spent the morning wandering through the botanical gardens, just five minutes walk away from our apartment. It makes a very imaginative use of a relatively small space to create a variety of habitats and plantings; there's always something different to see, whatever time of year one visits.

This morning my eye was caught by some small ducklings paddling about in the reeds, watched from a distance by their parents.
