Being a tourist at Kensington Palace

I thought that I'd finally visit the palace over the road. Highlights included Queen Caroline's interest in the arts; that it was designed by Sir Christopher Wren; how beautiful is the embroidery on the Queen's 1950s ball gowns. Other than that, it was lacking in historical information for those of us who had not bought the detailed written guide.
