Happy 4th of July!!

This morning after some quick errands we went on a bike ride with Miles in his 'trailer' on the back of Mitch's bike. He had a great time...as long as he was the 'engine' and he and daddy were in the lead. After we went to the Village to check out the 4th of July festivities. These included checking out the Fire Trucks, some baseball, and lots of people watching. We came back for a nap before Miles got to ride his first big boy bike (with training wheels). He had so much fun, even though he caused a crash with daddy :). Miles was fine, but poor Mitch went flying off the bike. (He was ok!)

We walked back to the Village so Miles could ride the train and get ice cream. He wanted to ride the train all by himself, which he did. We also ran into 'ATallOrder' and her little cutie and family.

Later Mitch grilled dinner while Miles continued to practice riding his new bike on the deck. We let Miles stay up late enough to watch some Fireworks on TV (since they don't do a live show in forest). It was a fun little 4th of July.
