Bittersweet

I had company at lunchtime today. A much needed visit from bittersweet who was up in the big smoke for the day. What a lovely treat! We went to a lovely place near Lincolnshire inn fields and it was altogether very civilised. Shame to have to go back to work but there you are.

After work there was a staff party in the plaza outside the library. Pimms, wine, beer and barbecue, followed by ice cream. Accompanied by some very dodgy karaoke! It was good fun but the loud music wasn't very conducive to talking. I think that must be my age though!
