Bathing in pollen

I intended to take my camera out into the garden yesterday, but we were so busy catching up, I forgot about it. So today I have some flower pictures, and this fly mimicking a bee.

I didn't even have my phone with me to use as a camera on the 4 July 'delicacies' being sold in the supermarket this morning... would make a gross kind of photo, but maybe some of our North American blippers will have some celebratory shots today.

I still need to spend some time catching up with my photos from this trip, hopefully over the next couple of days.
