Moira

I 'work' one afternoon a week in the British Heart Foundation charity shop.

Well, I did until the hernia & subsequent operation combined with daft workload put a temporary hold on it. I'll be back after the summer holidays.

And I use the term work lightly. I go there for three hours of giggling. And spending time with chums - both colleagues and customers. And collapsing in a heap at some of the stuff which we are given. And making up whole narratives based on one item of clothing. And maybe filling my wardrobe with beautiful, often saved for me, pieces of quirky, previously-adored clothes I'll never see anyone else in - for a fraction of the price of the high street.

And since I started 'work' there, popping in for a cup of tea and a natter and a catch-up in the hallowed back room.

Moira is my boss. She's also a very good friend. Lucky me.
