"Humshaugh is a quiet village"

So said I as Malcolm and I went for a short walk this morning. Gudrun had not slept well so opted to stay in bed this morning. There were few people in the main street and we met no one during our walk through the fields.

On our return I spotted these 3 outside the pub. They each had one of those kit cars, obviously created with a lot of care and enthusiasm. They said they don't race them and they were heading for Stranraer. The question they get asked most often is "Can you drive your car on the beach!"

I persuaded them that they really wanted me to photograph them - so I hope they find the link.

M and G left just before 1pm and Mum and I settled down for the men's semis at Wimbledon. Normal life will resume after the weekend. I'd like Federer to win.
