Another day another cast .

After a brief bout on the trampoline last night,youngest son complained about pain in,his right heel.

Last year he was diagnosed with Severs disease leaving him in 2 casts for several weeks ,while the minute fractures in his heels healed .

He has been careful and worn his prescription insoles to help ,but I think the rapid growth phase he is currently in has caused it to flare up again.

The Belgian health system is great and by tonight we had seen the Orthopaedic consultant to determine the prognosis.Since he will want to be playing football in the Autumn,a rest period in cast was agreed-until the end of the month.

Fingers crossed it has the desired effect !
