School's Out For Summer

Last day of school. After drop off, I met up with a few friends and caught up on all their news. We have known each other since BB and their kids were babies. Nice to see them – we don’t meet up often enough.

At pick up time, I saw the p7’s being serenaded out of school by a piper and through a guard of honour made up of all the school children and staff as they paraded round the school grounds. It’s a really lovely tradition, but is quite an emotional moment for everyone – especially if you have a p7!

Last swimming lesson until after the holidays – all clubs and activities have stopped for the summer – whew!
