Internship Day 1

Terrible night of sleep amounting to little more than 2 hours. Woke up at 6, hitched a ride to Silver Spring with Andrew. Stopped in Panera for coffee and breakfast. Arrived at DIP at 8:30 for first day of internship. This consisted of getting to know everyone and an intro to documentary filmmaking.
Met Christina in Silver Spring at 5:00, mediocre dinner at Kao Thai restaurant, metro ride back to Rockville completed by bus. Concluded by a much more restful night of sleep.
