The Great Escape.

We went out before lunch as the rain was forecast to arrive about mid-day. J did n't feel like going far, as he has a really bad dose of hay fever ,in spite of taking his medication. We went down the vale and we spotted thie lovely " chocolate box " cottage. The road outside is very narrow, and you can't stop and there was a car behind, so J slowed down and i managed to get this shot. If it wasn't so near our home it's the kind of place i would love to stay. You can't see it in the blip, but in the corner of the garden they have the Welsh flag flying. What a wonderful place to get away from it all. On our way home we stopped off, at the village store in Ewenny, where they sell the most amazing pasties,ever. I had a stilton & walnut ,and J had a chicken madras. Very moerish, but not very healthy.Never mind, it's salad and pizza for tea.
My granddaughter went to Cardiif Uni today, and was very impressed. You have to have higher grades to get in, but she sounded very positive. She thinks she may do Welsh and History. She will have to have an "A" for Welsh , but it's achievable. Still early days yet though.
