Swanning Around the Marina

Not much tree felling was done this morning by the Osborne House woodland volunteers due to the heat of the sun on the warmest day of the year so far. Much tea was drunk though in the shade of our woodland hideaway.

By the evening it had cooled off nicely for a pleasant walk along East Cowes Marina sited in the Estuary of the River Medina which divides East and West Cowes. This is just a small fraction of the expensive pieces of plastic which live here. Some never even go out to sea. You can moor your craft here for £400 per metre per year.
