Pineapple Guava Tree

A gift from Mother Comfort, this Pineapple Guava rests in our front yard, and it has bloomed this year! A hearty, evergreen, I just learned that it is deer and draught resistant too. Beautiful flowers (which are edible), and lovely fruit...if it bears fruit. Let's wish it our very best. We'd like to try the fruit.

Another lovely quality of this fine tree, is that it blooms on the fourth of July, and it looks like firework explosion too!
