A new shower

In the apartment.

The bathroom in the apartment is not large; it doesn't need to be. For the nearly 11 years we have been here we have tolerated the bath with a shower over it. The bath was very necessary when Mr H was young and again when Missy Moo was a baby. Even Young L gave the bath some use. But for the last four years the bath has been something that S and I climbed over the edge to have a shower. It was too small a bath for people of our height to have an enjoyable bath.

For some time we have talked of replacing the bath with a walk in shower, and this week it was finished. Almost. The glass has to be made to measure after the rest is done, and it will be ready in a couple of weeks. In the meantime the builder has put up a temporary curtain rail.

The design concept was S', and the bathroom people refined it with her. As with the book launch on the 15th, I am the support person leaving the creativity to those with it. It is a pleasure to have such a nice shower.
