Corning glass

This egg shaped piece of glass was a gift from Mr M when we visited the Corning Glass Museum a bunch of years ago. It has a place of honor on a shelf in our bedroom. We did a lot of work around the house today and then had a surprise (but welcome) invitation to dinner with friends and I didn't have a chance to get any photos until we got home.

Strong rain storms today, lots of wind, tree branches and leaves scattered all around.
