Animals du Jour

Question: What do you do if you get a good variety of creatures...but aren't thrilled with any of the pictures?

Answer: You shrink the pictures, put them into a collage, and hope that nobody puts it into LARGE.

1. My daughter Karen often calls me and says..."I just saw the deer out on Main Street." Yeah...but did she ever have them pose like this? I think not. This is what the deer hunters (not me!) call a button buck.

2. I NEVER need an excuse to post the world's most amazing animal...the squirrel.

3. Unfortunately, the herons that I have shot the last 2 years have moved farther back from the road, giving me a very obscured view. I can't believe that the 2 families built their nests so close to each other. Everybody related maybe?

One more day until the Fourth of July. We're planning on going to the parade, but we may old-fogey out on the fireworks this year.
