Quick Duck!

Another walk around The Shore this evening, I took some pictures of gulls and ducks, the family of swans were back again too. I had put my camera away and was heading to the pub when I spotted a couple odd ducks. I didn't recognise what type of duck they were but they had really bright orange eyes. I looked up the RSPB web site and think they might be "Scaup" ducks which are apparently pretty rare, but it does say you can see them around The Firth of Forth, so they could well be. They were diving a lot and staying submerged for long periods of time, I managed to catch this shot with one of them in mid-dive.
