money saving devices

So the water cylinder seems to be working fine now, I'm driving the van less distance, and have hassled my mechanic again about getting leaky the mini back on the road (which will cost money but will be a bit cheaper(and more fun) to run) and making a good effort to make my own lunch. Egg and pastrami sandwhiches today - yum!

Feels this crazy to be thinking this far ahead, but already need to start saving up for Christmas - travelling up north to see family and friends (10 hours driving plus three hours on the ferry) and more reno's (we want to 'knock the bugger off' as Ed Hillary once said - our own little Everest...)

I'm not sure piggy will be big enough.
