Sprouting

A long and busy day in the West End office writing, meeting, reading stuff, interviewing, printing stuff out, talking, etc etc. Or ect, ect as Molesworth would put it. At some point when I was blethering on the phone to someone in Nottingham about Newtonian mechanics (as you do), Bruce must have slipped into the room on silent feet and left a bag of his surplus purple sprouting broccoli. I had to thank him via email.

The bus home was extremely busy, so I found myself hunkered over the wee plants for a few stops. Then a Mr H egg curry for tea - it was truly eggsellent!

Oh, look at that, 1700 blips! But of course no more meaningful than 1699 or 1701. Odd how we've learned to find multiples of 10 significant, when the Babylonians were probably on the right tack back at the beginning with base 60. OK, I'll shut up now.
