My Friendly Little Hover-fly

Actually I like all hover-flies (as long as they don't buzz in my ear), but this one just happened to be working away pollinating the flowers when I had my camera handy ...

The particular flower on which he is resting here, is actually that of a Feverfew herb, which are bitter, but apparently good for headaches (and by that I mean good for curing headaches, not producing them) ...

The flowers of the Feverfew are also known as "Bachelors Buttons" ...
(A bachelor, of course, being what I will remain if I continue to spend my afternoon taking photos of hover-flies.) ... :o)
