Self portrait with Elvis

This rather forlorn Elvis is a fixture of the ginnel running through the town centre. It's been on display in the window of an amusement arcade at the top for years now. I've no idea why - is there some connection between fruit machines and Elvis that I'm missing?
This is technically a 'selfie' you know. It ticks all the boxes - I took it of myself, using a portable telephone, and was I was even standing in front of something reflective at the time for added selfie points. I always knew I was down with da kidz.
