Not Such an Ugly Duckling

Mr and Mrs Swan and six cygnets were on Needham Lake this afternoon. The parents were being very protective of their offspring and were hissing at anything that moved, I must say I don't blame them! I couldn't get a decent full family portrait: they were either looking the wrong way, too far apart to get a good capture, parents were feeding from below the water or they were all busy preening themselves. So, you have one Cygnet converted to mono, because in my opinion it looked better than the colour version.
