Llyn Padarn railway

this week have been on a 3 day Welsh Summer School. 3 days of reading, writing and speaking Welsh with the emphasis on lots of speaking. Today was a trip out to practise speaking with local Welsh people and we went to Llanberis to visit the National Slate Museum. I've been there before but not long after it opened to the public. There are so many improvements now which makes for a much more exciting visit. I highly recommend it and it's free entry. Alongside this is a little narrow guage steam railway which takes people around Llyn Padarn and just before we left I managed to catch it's return journey along with a very smiley train driver :)
