Waiting for Hurricane Arthur
This photo is when Hurricane Arthur is still about 100 miles SE. The red flag at the lonely lifeguard stand means don't go in the water. Arthur is to be parallel us about 4 or 5 PM, but it is supposed to stay off-shore. North of us at the North Carolina Outer Banks is where it is to come ashore and likely cause flooding and damage. Our outcome is predicted to be heavy rains, some wind, and isolated flooded streets.
