Feeling flat.

On the up side,that's all the sheep clipped by 7pm tonight . On the down side,this was the 20 acre field of spring oats this morning. Yesterday it was all looking well,plenty straw and heading up fine-going to be a decent crop. After last night's wind and rain it is as flat as a pancake. It wont get back on its feet now before harvest. Best case is a real job combining it and uneven ripening. Worst case is that it starts to sprout and second growth and becomes a write off. Cant even chop it for silage as both pits are full with the huge amount of grass we had. Nature likes to maintain balance !
