Abbey Days

What a thoroughly enjoyable cycle out to Dunfermline that was. What a slog coming back straight into the wind though. Burny thighs.

Spent a half an hour inside the Abbey taking photos, it's just too photogenic not too. I'd seen that they'd decorated the place to as part of the Bannockburn commemorations but that must've just been for last week because there was nothing on show bar the normal this afternoon. Grabbed a sandwich after this and shared it with the squirrels in the park next door.

Now back and waiting on birthday cake; it's one of my frequent lurker's birthday today...
