Old & New

Took a Spanish Class field trip today to get new front tires before our trip to Patzcuaro next week. Our vehicle has needed new rubber for quite some time and nothing like a road trip to motivate completion of that task. My Spanish teacher agreed to go along in case I had any trouble, but it turned out I did most of the talking (though it is always nice to have confirmation one is making sense when making a major purchase like this). Old tire in the foreground (totally bald on one side), new tire behind in this shot taken while waiting for the second new tire to be delivered (via taxi 15 minutes later). Oil change last week, new tires this week - we are ready to travel!
