It's miserable today, hazy hot and humid weather. Now threats of Hurricane Arthur's drenching rains have magnified traffic nightmares for the Independence Day Holiday. The big annual Boston 4th of July celebration on the Esplanade has been pushed up to tonight because of the impending rain and the wind offshore tomorrow evening. It's a work day, so the commute and celebration traffic is expected to snarl worse than usual. Boston traffic is a nightmare on a good day.

In the midst of this, T and her sister are trying to coordinate getting to Massachusetts General Hospital, which is in the thick of the celebration zone, to see J who is suffering and still holding on to the twins who are officially 34 weeks along today. I'm home worrying about everything. T worked for the morning so I didn't go along with her.

Instead, I went to my camera for the calming I needed. It always works for me. The chippies are on the peanut trail and adorable as always. Heat or no heat, they toil on.
