A Hope for Improvement
Last night I started a 4 evening DSLR class in Still's Gallery. This class was quite technical but well taught. We covered megapixels, optical and digital zoom, field of view crop factor, aperture, shutter speed and ISO. We looked at full stops and equivalences between different ISO, aperture and shutter speed combinations. I was surprised that I enjoyed it and it certainly increased my understanding :)). Part of our homework was to set out cameras at ISO 200 and f4, then shoot some things outside. I did that this morning when I was coming back from the hairdresser. I liked this thistle against the blue wall. It is as it came from the camera.
