Maniatoto Landscape

Well a very wearing two days. Have back blipped yesterdays. No sooner got to Ranfurly yesterday and down came the snow but it did not lie and was told the road would stay right which it did. A very tough day at the hospital.
Went back to my sons at night and over night there was sleet and then a heavy frost. Drove back to Ranfurly this morning on black ice should I say crawled back to Ranfurly. Toughest conditions I have ever driven in but all the traffic was crawling as well so it was OK.
My sister coping better today so another sister came back with me as far as Kakanui, good to have company.
Am glad to be back by my own fireside and will not be long out of bed. Sorry I am away behind with commenting but will catch up over the weekend
