Dock bugs mating

Just catching up after a busy day and evening yesterday. After running a training course for the Chilterns Conservation Board I allowed myself a quiet walk around part of the nature reserve before rushing back to meet people for dinner. I came across this lovely pair of leatherbugs which seemed so well colour-matched with the dock/sorrel they were performing on. This is Coreus marginatus, commonly known as the Dock Bug.
