(Sun)bursting with colour

This was taken near the Cape Arago Highway between The Sunset Bay State Park and the Shore Acres State Park ...... many thanks go to Evelyne (EvelyneNaylorC) who recommended that we visit the Shore Acres State Park to see the botanical gardens there ..... absolutely beautiful AND I saw hummingbirds there - not quite good enough shots of them to blip though ....

We had a wonderful mini-blipmeet with Evelyne today - meeting in a trendy little coffee shop in Florence, Oregon and then moving on down the road for lunch - she had kindly reserved a table for us out on the deck giving a wonderful view of the Siuslaw River Bridge - excellent company and excellent food made for a great afternoon - finished off with a visit to her gorgeous home to meet her husband and the beautiful Maggie (labrador dog).
