Cool day and road trip in mind

A rather cool start to the day, with snow having fallen on Tarawera overnight.

Quite surprised there wasn't more of a frost this morning. On a nice frosty morning, you can be assured that the day is going to be clear.

On returning from lunch I spied the trees across the road (final autumn leaves) and me eye caught sight of the road sign . My thought was a road trip to the beach would be nice on a day like today, beanie on the head and blow some cobwebs away.

But alas back to work.
