Como Conservatory
Today I took the kids to Como Zoo and Conservatory to meet some of Mia's friends from music class. The weather started off beautiful. Our friends were a little late, so we spent some time on the grounds watching some ducklings in the lily pad pond outside the conservatory. We also enjoyed the ‘Our Shared Planet’ exhibit featuring the wood-carved birds and animals of wildlife artist Jim Ramsdell. Once they arrived we visited the new gorilla display. One of the gorillas was baring his teeth, running around and had extremely foul gas. Our last stop was the cat house where on one side the lions were mating and the other the tiger was relieving himself. All in all, it was a very interesting and educational day at Como.
