Travelled from Golspie up to the North Coast of Scotland. Called in at
Carn Liath Broch near Brora
Helmsdale Harbour
Wick
Castle Sinclair Girnigoe
John O'Groats
Brough Harbour near Dunnet Head

A torrential downpour just as we arrived at The Sign. Glad we waited as the rainbow provided a great backdrop.

Wonderful views north to the Orkney Islands this evening. We have seen seals, herons and many sea birds. Still light at 10.45 pm, with a gorgeous pink glow in the sky.
