Bird Count

I don't know how you can possibly count large flocks of birds, even with practice.

Around Lambay tonight we estimated 53,000 guillemots and 15,000 gannets, assorted cormorants, shags, grebes, divers and puffins...and the list goes on.

I thought it easier to take photos and count back on dry land... I think I may have counted the same gannet five or six times!!!
