Minty

Today was not, as promised, the hottest day of the week. Instead the East end of Fife was buffeted by some strong winds and rain. The gusts were too strong in fact to fly our seagull kite, which just kept soaring up briefly before nosediving sickeningly into the sand. A far cry from the delights of yesterday.

We made the most of a colder day by enjoying a trip to the pub and some board games at home, as well as ridding our kitchen of unwanted foodstuffs before we leave tomorrow. This included our mint plant, which we drowned in the teapot. Delicious.
