Cafe de Olla

Am finally on top of the work mountain I came back to after my holiday. And breathe.....

So today I was able to take my foot off the gas a little and do nice things around my time chained to the laptop like have lunch with Angus and pop to Waterstones . Mum and Dad, formerly known plurally as The Gagas now "Gaga and Marmite" (she can't say Grandma so calls her Marma which sounds like Marmite) looked after the little monkey. She had slept in until 8.15am so decided not to nap at lunch, which must have been nice for them!

Had a first today. A Mexican Cafe de Olla. Coffee with milk, palm sugar and lemon. Strange but nice too. Probably contains a bijillion calories though!

Audrey and I had a run out to the post office and a picnic in the garden before a long bedtime story session getting through all her new books!
