River of Chocolate

It rained like the Dickens last night and this morning the river was really flowing carrying a lot of mud with it. We have a filter station at this point in the river which is composed of a concrete wall that spans the breadth of the river. When we get enough rain, the water flows right over the top of the concrete wall - which is what you see in this shot.

When I developed this photo it looked like a river of chocolate ;-) I took many shots but the length of this exposure and the angle really evokes the power of the flowing water imo.
