Wedding Anniversary Surprise

We've been married 47 years on July 1st!

On Sunday afternoon, my husband says I need to pack my bag and find my passport as he is taking me to Bruges. Ever the romantic! We catch the over night ferry in Hull on Monday afternoon, spend our wedding anniversary wandering the streets and canals of Bruges and catch the ferry back later that afternoon!

The ferry was huge, so imagine my shock when we had to go through a lock! Not just that but there couldn't have been more than foot either side of this monster boat when we inched our way in and out! Amazing.
